Magician in Lincoln

State capital and the university, in a city that turns out for both.

Lincoln is eight and a half hours by road or a fly-in to Omaha, an hour northeast. It is the state capital and home to the University of Nebraska, and the football culture here is a genuine civic phenomenon. A home Saturday makes Memorial Stadium the third-largest city in the state.

What gets booked in Lincoln

State government brings association receptions while the legislature sits, January to April. The university drives donor receptions, department dinners and reunion weekends. Insurance and technology employers add corporate hospitality. The Pinnacle Bank Arena and the Cornhusker take the larger events. Agricultural associations hold winter annual meetings here, which fill dates that are quiet elsewhere.

Getting there

Roughly 8.5 hours by road from Milwaukee. That is normally still a drive rather than a flight, which means the full show travels with me, and travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.
