What is collected

Two things, and they are kept separate.

Information you give us

When you send a booking enquiry, request information or buy a ticket, we receive what you typed into the form: your name, email address, phone number, event details and anything you wrote in the message box. Ticket purchases also record the event, the ticket type and the quantity.

We use this only to answer you, quote your event, and honour your booking or ticket. It is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers — ever.

Information collected automatically

The site runs its own first-party analytics rather than Google Analytics. When you visit, it records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate location (country, state and city — derived from your IP address, never your precise position), your device type, and your IP address. This is used to understand which pages are working and where enquiries come from, and to identify abuse of the contact form and phone line.

There are no third-party advertising trackers, no Facebook pixel and no cross-site profiling.

Cookies and local storage

The site stores a random session identifier in your browser so that several pageviews from the same visit can be counted as one visit. It contains no personal information and is not shared. A cookie is also used to keep you signed in if you are an administrator. That is all.

Payments

If you pay a deposit or invoice online, the card details are entered on a payment page hosted by Authorize.Net and are never seen by, transmitted through, or stored on this website. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of the card.

Email

Enquiries and order confirmations are sent through our own mail server. We do not add you to a marketing list from a booking enquiry, and we do not send newsletters you did not ask for.

How long anything is kept

• Enquiries and quotes — kept while the enquiry is live and for as long as needed for our business records.
• Bookings, contracts and payment records — kept for seven years, as required for tax and accounting.
• Analytics — routinely cleared; it is only useful while it is recent.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@hyattsmagic.com and we will action it. There is no form to fill in and no charge. The only thing we may have to keep is a record required for tax purposes.

Your browser’s “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control settings are respected where they are sent.

Children

Caleb performs at plenty of family and school events, but this website is intended for the adults doing the booking. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change with it.
