Magician in Denver

Two hours in the air from Milwaukee, which makes a single evening date workable

Denver is one of the easiest fly-in dates on my list. It is a couple of hours in the air from Milwaukee with plenty of flights, so one evening booking does not have to become a two-day trip.

The thing I build in is the airport, which sits twenty-five miles out from downtown and a good deal further from anywhere in the foothills. I allow for that rather than cut it fine. Travel is built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.

What gets booked in Denver

Denver has a real convention calendar and a downtown corporate base to go with it: energy, aerospace, telecom, healthcare and a growing set of outdoor-industry brands. Most of what I am asked for is hospitality, whether that is a reception on the opening night, an awards dinner, or strolling magic during the drinks hour before someone has to speak.

Holiday parties book from late summer onward and go quickly. January downtown belongs to the National Western Stock Show, and the mountain resort weeks west of the city are their own conversation.
