Denver for the convention work, the mountain towns for everything else
Colorado is fifteen hours by road, so in practice it is a fly-in. Denver is straightforward. The mountain towns are the part that needs planning, because Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek and Steamboat all sit a couple of hours past the airport and winter weather can make that longer. I build in a buffer rather than cut it close on a same-day arrival.
Travel is either built into the package or itemised on the quote, and agreed before anything is booked.
What I get booked for in Colorado
Denver has a genuine convention calendar and a downtown corporate base in energy, aerospace, telecom and healthcare, with Boulder and Colorado Springs adding technical and defense audiences. That work tends to be hospitality suites, awards dinners and holiday parties.
The resort towns are a separate business. Companies bring people out for a week of meetings and ski time and want something in the evening that is not another speaker. Those weeks book far ahead, especially around the winter holidays, and the same venues fill with weddings and family events all summer.
Travel
Roughly 15 hours by road from Milwaukee. That is normally still a drive rather than a flight, which means the full show travels with me, and travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.
