Magician in West Virginia

West Virginia is a drive rather than a flight, roughly ten hours to Charleston and less to the northern panhandle. Driving means I arrive with everything, including a sound system if the venue does not have one.

For a resort date at the Greenbrier or Snowshoe I would usually build in an extra night rather than start a long drive after the show. Travel is either included in the package or itemised on your quote and agreed in advance.

What I get booked for in West Virginia

The corporate work here is energy and chemicals, gas and coal and the plants along the Kanawha Valley, plus banking, utilities and the hospital systems around Morgantown and Huntington. Those organisations book employee appreciation nights and holiday parties more than anything else.

Otherwise West Virginia books the way small markets do: statewide association meetings, hospital and school foundation fundraisers, county chamber dinners, church events. The Greenbrier is the one property in the state running a genuinely national conference calendar, and it is a different sort of booking entirely.

Travel

Roughly 10 hours by road from Milwaukee. That is normally still a drive rather than a flight, which means the full show travels with me, and travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.
