Magician in Newark

Newark is a fly-in that works: one direct flight, and northern New Jersey inside an hour

Newark is a fly-in, and one of the easier ones — Milwaukee to Liberty is a direct hop, and the airport sits inside the city rather than an hour outside it. Travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.

Most of what I get asked about here is not in Newark proper. It is the corporate belt around it: Essex and Morris County office parks, the hotels along 78 and 24, and event spaces in the Ironbound when a client wants somewhere with more character than a ballroom.

What gets booked in Newark

Insurance, utilities and pharmaceuticals do most of the booking. Prudential and PSEG are headquartered downtown, and the pharma corridor runs west of the city through East Hanover and Whippany. Audible and Panasonic put a younger tech audience in the middle of town, and Rutgers–Newark and NJIT add a steady run of department events and donor evenings.

Because Manhattan is fifteen minutes away by train, budgets here get compared to Manhattan budgets, which usually works in the client's favour. December is the crush. January sales meetings are the quieter, easier booking.

Getting there

A fly-in date from Milwaukee. Flights and time on the ground are either built into the package or shown as a separate line on your quote, agreed before anything is booked — never added afterwards.

Also covered nearby: Harrison, Belleville, Bloomfield, East Orange, Irvington, Elizabeth.
