Magician in Manchester

Manchester is a flight, not a drive. I fly into Manchester–Boston Regional or into Boston and come north, depending on schedule and cost; either way, travel is built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.

The city is small enough that the same rooms come up again and again — the Millyard event spaces, the downtown hotels, the country clubs out toward Bedford and Hooksett. Most of what I do here is corporate: an evening for a company that has grown past the point where a buffet and a slideshow is enough.

What gets booked in Manchester

The employer list is short and specific: healthcare systems, insurance and financial firms, defense and advanced manufacturing down the corridor toward Nashua, and the tech companies that took over the old Amoskeag mill buildings. Southern New Hampshire University shapes a good part of the local calendar on its own.

Boston is an hour away, which cuts both ways. Plenty of Manchester companies hold their bigger events down there, and plenty of Boston-area planners look north for a venue that costs less. The holiday season here is short and crowded; December dates go in September.
