Magician in Montana

In Montana the booking is usually one evening in the middle of a week-long retreat

Montana is a fly-in with a connection, usually into Bozeman, Billings or Missoula. It is not a state I can treat as a day trip, so I plan a travel day either side and handle the whole thing as a block rather than an evening.

Distances inside the state matter as much as getting there. Billings to Kalispell is a serious drive. Tell me the venue early and I will route it properly. The cost of getting there is either built into the package or itemised on the quote before anything is booked.

What I get booked for in Montana

The resort business is the obvious fit in Montana. Companies fly a team to Big Sky, Whitefish or a guest ranch for several days of meetings and want one evening that is not another meeting. That is the right slot for close-up work through a reception and a longer set after dinner.

Beyond that, state associations rotate their annual meetings between Billings, Missoula and Great Falls, and summer brings destination weddings to the mountain venues, where guests have travelled a long way and the reception runs late.

Travel

A fly-in date from Milwaukee. Flights and time on the ground are either built into the package or shown as a separate line on your quote, agreed before anything is booked — never added afterwards.

Where the people are

Montana’s biggest cities

Most of Montana’s population lives in and around these five cities, and that is where most of the events are. Caleb performs in all of them — and in the smaller towns between them.
