Minnesota is a straightforward drive from Milwaukee and a market I know. Minneapolis and St. Paul bring corporate and association work; the wider state brings weddings, church events and community shows. Five hours means a Twin Cities date is usually one night away rather than a flight, and Rochester, Duluth or St. Cloud can fit the same trip if the timing lines up.
What I get booked for in Minnesota
Twin Cities bookings are mostly corporate: company celebrations, customer appreciation nights and conference receptions, with a heavy concentration of retail, medical device, food and financial employers running events in the same downtown and suburban hotels. Sales meetings cluster in January and the autumn; December fills early. Outside the metro the pattern changes: summer weddings on the lakes, county fairs and festivals, church family nights and school programs.
