Vermont is a flight into Burlington, or occasionally into Albany or Manchester with a drive on the end. It is a long way for one evening, so I will often suggest pairing it with another New England date in the same week.

What I get booked for in Vermont
There is almost no large convention business in Vermont, and that shapes what actually gets booked. The work is small and personal: resort events at Stowe, Killington and Sugarbush, company retreats that take over an inn for two nights, non-profit fundraisers, and country weddings through leaf season.
Those are close-up rooms. Thirty to eighty people, frequently no stage and no sound system. Strolling magic and a short seated set suit them far better than anything built for a ballroom, and they reward material that survives being watched from two feet away.
