South Dakota is a drive. Sioux Falls is about nine hours from Milwaukee and I take the car, which keeps the sound gear and the close-up cases with me and avoids anything being checked.
Rapid City and the Black Hills add most of another day, so the western half of the state works best as a weekend or as part of a longer run west. Travel is either folded into the package or listed on your quote, agreed up front.
What I get booked for in South Dakota
Sioux Falls carries the corporate side. Card processing and bank operations centres sit there, along with two large health systems, and between them they run a steady calendar of recognition nights and foundation events.
Everything else in the state books through associations and co-operatives. Agriculture, rural electric, banking and the chambers all hold annual meetings that rotate between Sioux Falls and Rapid City, and those rooms usually want a 30 to 45 minute set after dinner rather than strolling. Summer in the Black Hills brings resort and tourism work.

Roughly 9 hours by road from Milwaukee. That is normally still a drive rather than a flight, which means the full show travels with me, and travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.
