New Mexico is a fly-in, into Albuquerque, with Santa Fe an hour up the road and Las Cruces about three and a half hours south. One airport covers nearly everything.
October is the month to know about. Balloon Fiesta fills Albuquerque hotels and pushes rates up for the better part of two weeks, so a date in that window needs to be locked early. Travel is either built into the package or itemised on your quote, agreed before anything is booked.
What I get booked for in New Mexico
A large share of the corporate work here is scientific. Sandia, Los Alamos, Kirtland and the contractors around them run award dinners, retirement events and program milestones, and those rooms enjoy having something in front of them to pick apart.
Santa Fe is the meetings destination: smaller high-end conferences and incentive trips at the resorts and historic hotels, where the client wants entertainment sized for a room of eighty rather than a ballroom of eight hundred. The pueblo resorts near Albuquerque take the larger conventions, and tribal enterprises and nonprofits run their own banquet calendars.
Travel
