Reno is a fly-in. It has changed a great deal: the Tesla and Panasonic plants at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center brought a manufacturing and logistics economy that now rivals gaming, and the corporate event calendar has grown with it.
What gets booked in Reno
Casino resorts still host the conventions and the larger private events, but the corporate work increasingly comes from logistics, data centres and manufacturing east of town. The University of Nevada adds donor and department events. Lake Tahoe forty minutes west runs a high-end wedding and corporate retreat calendar in summer, and Incline Village private parties are worth pairing a trip around. Hot August Nights and the Air Races are the biggest hospitality weeks.
