Corporate hospitality leads in the Detroit area: automotive suppliers, the engineering and design firms around Troy and Auburn Hills, and the hospital systems, all of which run supplier dinners and customer events.
Grand Rapids and western Michigan bring more weddings, church events and community programs, and Lansing adds state associations and university dates. Up north, the resort towns book company retreats and summer weddings between June and September, then go quiet for the winter. Detroit-area corporate picks up in autumn and runs through the holiday season.
