Indianapolis and the north: drivable, and a market I have worked before.
Indiana is within driving range, and I have performed here before, including at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Four and a half hours down means most of the state works as a single-overnight trip rather than a flight, and the north-west corner is closer to Chicago than it is to Indianapolis, which changes how those dates get planned.
What I get booked for in Indiana
Indianapolis carries the corporate and convention work: pharmaceutical and life-science employers, motorsport and its supply chain, logistics around the airport, and the amateur sports bodies that keep national meetings downtown. Northern Indiana sits in the Chicago orbit and books more private events, weddings and church programs. Fort Wayne, Evansville and the university towns run their own calendars, mostly banquets, fundraisers and school assemblies set a long way out.
Travel
