Connecticut is a fly-in, usually through Hartford or by landing near New York and driving up. The state's advantage is its size. Greenwich to Hartford is under two hours, so if you are one of several groups looking at the same week, I can often cover all of you without anyone paying for a separate trip.

What I get booked for in Connecticut
The money here is in insurance and financial services. Hartford books insurers and their annual events. Fairfield County is investment firms and corporate headquarters inside commuting distance of Manhattan, and their private hosting is as common as their office parties. Pharmaceutical and manufacturing employers add their own dates along the shoreline.
Beyond that, country clubs, independent schools and the casino properties in the southeast run steady event programs, and the casinos bring conference business the rest of the state does not see.
