Arkansas is about ten hours from Milwaukee, which puts it inside driving range when the trip is worth the road time. I will usually drive for a Northwest Arkansas date, particularly if there is a second booking near it, and fly into Bentonville or Little Rock when the calendar is tight.

Northwest Arkansas runs on a small number of very large companies and the supplier community that orbits them. Retail, poultry and trucking keep a steady flow of vendor meetings, sales events and client dinners moving through Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville. It is a corporate market in a small-town setting, and half the room has often flown in for two days.
Little Rock is a different job: state associations, healthcare, government-adjacent nonprofits, and the annual banquets they build their year around.
