Magician in Alaska

A fly-in state where one trip should carry more than one date

Alaska is a real flight, not a hop, so I plan it differently. If you are looking at a date in Anchorage or Fairbanks, tell me early and I will see what else can be built around it. A single evening is possible. Two or three over a few days is a better use of the airfare for everyone involved.

Travel on an Alaska booking gets quoted openly, either folded into the package or itemised, and agreed before anything is confirmed.

What I get booked for in Alaska

The work that comes out of Alaska tends to be annual rather than routine: resource companies in oil, gas and mining, seafood and shipping, the Native corporations and their shareholder meetings, and nonprofits running one big fundraising night a year. The military communities around Anchorage and Fairbanks run their own calendar.

Season matters more here than anywhere. Summer belongs to tourism and long working days. The dark stretch from November on is when boards, companies and charities want a room full of people enjoying themselves.

Travel

A fly-in date from Milwaukee. Flights and time on the ground are either built into the package or shown as a separate line on your quote, agreed before anything is booked — never added afterwards.

Where the people are

Alaska’s biggest cities

Most of Alaska’s population lives in and around these five cities, and that is where most of the events are. Caleb performs in all of them — and in the smaller towns between them.
